Jake leads ENGEO’s Christchurch office. He manages multiple medium- to large-scale residential, commercial, and industrial projects from a geotechnical standpoint. These include industrial warehouses, multi-storey residential apartments, residential subdivisions, and commercial complexes across a range of geological settings with various geotechnical development challenges. Jake has been lucky enough to gain experience throughout New Zealand on such projects as the Kaikōura Earthquake remediation, Kaipara District mapping, the Canterbury Earthquake Sequence response, and Cyclone Gabrielle response in Auckland.
Jake has a strong project management and client relationship focus and often coordinates projects with complex stakeholder management requirements. He can fill a wide range of roles within a project team from project management to technical support and geotechnical lead.
“The best part about working for ENGEO is the culture and the people. My colleagues are a second family to me, and the positive, supportive vibe makes it a pleasure to come to work every day. Further, it is humbling to be associated with such intelligent, resourceful people who are passionate about their jobs.”
Outside of work Jake enjoys sport (rugby, multisport), socialising, gardening, cooking, and the outdoors.
